Got tired of propping up what ever I had near by to catch/stop the coolant from splashing all over the stuff around the mill and the floor. So I threw together this adjustable splash guard. Had some 1/4" polycarbonate laying around and picked up 4 12" piano hinges and walla, adjustable splash guard. The 4 hinges make it pretty flexible to get around different sizes of material. Since I use the vise a lot this one is fashioned to fit over the vise, the next one will be for the table. Oh and there's a piece not shown to cover the opening for the vise if I do want to use it without the vise. The one I'll make for the table will be longer X axis wise. |
